The Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 11 March 2020 at about 8am, the police were alerted to a case where a male victim was molested by an unknown man in a bus travelling along Bukit Batok West Ave 1.
Through ground enquiries, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 19 March 2020.
The man will be charged in court on 21 March 2020 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. The offence carries an imprisonment term which may extend up to 2 years, or fine, or caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
