The Police have arrested a 34-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of sexual exposure.
On 25 August 2020 at about 2.10pm, the Police received a call for assistance that a man had allegedly exposed himself to a female victim by appearing naked in front of her at the vicinity of Sims Place.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 1 September 2020.
The man will be charged in court on 2 September 2020 with the offence of sexual exposure. Anyone convicted of the offence of sexual exposure, punishable under Section 6(3) of the Protection from Harassment Act, will be liable to an imprisonment term which may extend to one year, or fine, or both.
