The Police have acted on two Authorisation Orders from the Attorney-General’s Chambers to initiate investigations against a 28-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman for contempt of court under Section 3(1)(a) of the Administration of Justice (Protection) Act. Both individuals made social media posts that alleged preferential treatment based on race, of accused persons involved in an incident at Orchard Towers that took place on 2 July 2019.
Police investigations are ongoing.
