There will be an event held on Sunday, 8 November 2020, at One Marina Boulevard.

To facilitate the event, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated period:

  • Collyer Quay

From 7 November 2020, 11.00pm

To 8 November 2020, 7.30pm

  • 3 left lanes of Collyer Quay in the direction of Raffles Quay (between lamp post 9 and Raffles Quay)
  • 3 right lanes of Collyer Quay in the direction of Fullerton Road (between lamp post 1 and carpark entrance of Ocean Financial Centre)
  • Extreme left lane of Collyer Quay in the direction of Fullerton Road (between lamp post 1 and 2)
  • 3 left lanes of Raffles Quay in the direction of Telegraph Street (between Collyer Quay and junction of Finlayson Green)
  • 3 left lanes of Finlayson Green in the direction of Marina Boulevard (between Robinson Road and Raffles Quay)
  • 3 left lanes of Marina Boulevard in the direction of Marina Coastal Expressway (between junction of Raffles Quay and Marina Boulevard lamp post 7F)

 

During the closure, access will be granted only to police, emergency and authorised vehicles. Auxiliary Police officers will be positioned at the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists.

Traffic delays are expected along Collyer Quay, Fullerton Road, Esplanade Drive, Robinson Road, Cecil Street and Church Street. Motorists are to plan their route early and avoid these roads. OUE Bayfront and One Marina Boulevard public car parks will be closed to the public on 7 November 2020 from 11.00pm to 8 November 2020 at 7.30pm. Members of the public travelling to these affected areas are strongly encouraged to use public transport. 

Public bus services affected by the closures will be diverted. Similarly, motorists proceeding to Marina Bay Sands Singapore, Sheares Avenue and Marina Coastal Expressway from Robinson Road, Cecil Street and Church Street are to use the alternate route via Straits Boulevard.

Vehicles found parked illegally or caused obstruction along the peripheral roads will be towed.

During the event, the public is to refrain from conducting any aerial activities (i.e. flying of unmanned aircraft, kite-flying and hoisting of tethered balloon) in the area and its vicinity.
