The Police have arrested two male teenagers, both aged 17, for their suspected involvement in a case of theft in dwelling.
On 21 February 2021 at about 5.45pm, the Police received a report that two men had stolen jewellery from a shop along Woodlands Drive 44 and fled. Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identities of both suspects and arrested them within 12 hours of the report.
Police investigations are ongoing. The offence of theft in dwelling with common intention under Section 380 of the Penal Coderead with Section 34 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
