The Traffic Police (TP) will be launching the Online Mock Theory Test (MTT) on Friday, 31 March 2023 at 6.00pm.

All Singpass account holders will be able to access the MTT for Basic, Final and Riding Theory Test for free. The Mock Theory Test will be accessible from SPF e-services and TP Online Learning portal and on the Police@SG mobile app. MTT is available in four main languages, namely, English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.

All users who login via the system can attempt the practice mode or mock test mode. In the practice mode, users can make multiple test attempts and there will be no time limit. The correct answers will be shown and these features provide a platform for self-paced learning when reviewing the answers.

In the mock test mode, it mirrors the actual test requirements of completing 50 test questions in 50 minutes. The user can choose to flag or skip challenging questions and review them again towards the end. This function emphasizes the importance of time management. There will be a pop-up alert when 10 minutes of time is remaining for the MTT.  When the time limit is up, all selected answers will be submitted to reflect the realism of the actual test. There is no limit to the number of times the mock test may be attempted.

TP envisions that the introduction of MTT will enhance road safety through continuous education by giving learner motorists as well as existing motorists a platform to learn, test, update and improve their own knowledge of road traffic rules, traffic signs and proper road behaviour, thereby making our roads safer for all.

Please refer to Annex A for a preview of the MTT.
