The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a series of cases of sexual exposure.
Between 6 October 2023 and 25 October 2023, the Police had received three reports that a man had allegedly exposed his genitals to women at the private estates along Yio Chu Kang Road.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of CCTV cameras, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 30 October 2023 in the vicinity of Serangoon Garden Way.
The man will be charged in court on 1 November 2023 with the offence of sexual exposure under Section 377BF of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term which may extend to one year, a fine or both.
The Police will deal with sexual offenders who threaten the personal safety of others in the community, and offenders will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
