The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of sexual exposure.
On 7 April 2024, the Police received two reports that a man had allegedly exposed his genitals to two women along Woodlands Circle and Woodlands Drive 73 respectively.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day within six hours.
The man will be charged in court on 9 April 2024 with the offence of sexual exposure under Section 377BF of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term which may extend to one year, a fine or both.
The Police will deal with sexual offenders who threaten the personal safety of others in the community, and offenders will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
