The Police have arrested a 36-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 26 March 2019, the Police received a report from a 24-year-old female victim that she had been molested by a man at 100 Tras St. Through follow-up investigations, officers from the Central Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 27 March 2019.
Investigations are ongoing.
Anyone convicted of outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
