Officers from the Commercial Affairs Department and the seven Police Land Divisions conducted a two-week operation between 4 August 2023 and 17 August 2023. The suspects are believed to be involved in more than 1,400 cases of scams, comprising mainly job scams, phishing scams, investment scams, Government Officials impersonation scams, e-commerce scams, internet love scams, where victims reportedly lost over $13.2 million.
