The Police have arrested a 65-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 3 July 2019, the Police received a report from a 34-year-old woman informing that she was molested along Clementi Ave 2.
Through investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day.
The man will be charged in court with outrage of modesty on 5 July 2019. Anyone convicted for the offence of outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is liable for a jail term of up to 2 years, or with fine, caning, or with any combination of such punishments, upon conviction.
