Nomination Day for the General Election 2025 is on 23 April 2025. Nomination proceedings will be from 11am to 12pm. Candidates are reminded to arrive at the Nomination Centre early. The Nomination Centres are listed below.
Supporters and members of the public are advised to:
- Arrive at the Nomination Centre only after 10am, when it is opened to the public. Please refer to Annex A for information on the entrance which supporters should use for the various Nomination Centres.
- Take public transport to the Nomination Centre.
- Assemble at and disperse from the Nomination Centre in an orderly manner.
- Be prepared for security checks in and around the Nomination Centre.
- Not bring large bags or any dangerous items such as those in Annex B.
- Not display placards, flags, or banners in support of any candidate in the Nomination Centre before the closing of nomination proceedings.
- Note that the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (“CAAS”) will establish Temporary Restricted Areas (“TRA”) over the Nomination Centres (as shown in Annex C) on 23 April 2025 from 9am to 3pm. During this time, the flying of unmanned aircraft and conduct of other aerial activities (such as kite-flying and hoisting of captive balloons) are prohibited within and into the TRA, unless authorised by CAAS.
The Police will not hesitate to take action against any person who is unruly or commits any offence in or around the Nomination Centre.

- Firearms/parts of firearms, including empty magazines and spent cartridges;
- Live bullets or blanks;
- Air pistol/rifle or parts;
- Spear gun;
- Explosive/blasting cap/dynamite/corrosive substance;
- Fireworks/firecrackers;
- Parang/machete;
- Bearing scrappers;
- Walking stick with dagger;
- Antique pistol/gun;
- Stun gun;
- Baton/t-baton;
- Night stick;
- Signal flare and other flammable materials;
- Handcuff;
- Tear-gas spray/pepper spray;
- Nanchaku;
- Knuckle duster;
- Crossbow;
- Industrial acid;
- Bulletproof vest;
- Keychain in the shape of a bullet or gun;
- Wooden/metal spear;
- Lighter in gun, pistol, bullet, grenade shape;
- Toy gun which resembles an actual gun;
- Kirpan;
- Any sharp or long objects, such as knives, that can be used as a weapon;
- Glass bottles;
- Laser pointers;
- Unmanned aircraft; and
- Canned items including canned drinks.

Annex C
TRA Boundaries
The TRA boundary will be based on a 1-km radius from the various Nomination Centres and will be in effect on 23 April 2025 (Wednesday) from 9am to 3pm.
