Police have arrested a 17-year-old woman for her suspected involvement in a case of Criminal Breach of Trust as a Servant.
On 15 July 2015, Police were informed that cash was reportedly stolen at Fortune Supermarket located at Blk 463 Sembawang Drive. Acting on the information, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division arrested the woman on 18 July 2015. Cash amounting to $300, 72 lucky draw vouchers, 4 packets of cigarettes and 2 bags were seized as case exhibits.
The woman will be charged in Court on 20 July 2015. Anyone found guilty of committing the offence of Criminal Breach of Trust as a Servant under Section 408 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, may be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 15 years, and shall also be liable to fine.
