The Singapore Police Force (SPF), in conjunction with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), will be conducting an emergency preparedness exercise codenamed ‘Exercise Heartbeat’ on 18 November 2015 and 23 November 2015.

The exercise will involve business community partners such as SBS Transit (SBST), Sentosa Development Corporation and commercial building owners/management of the Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG).
During the exercise, there will be loud sounds simulating explosions and smoke. Members of the public are advised not to be alarmed. Exercise signage will be displayed at all exercise areas.

No parking is allowed along the peripheral roads of the abovementioned locations. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed away. During the road / lane closure periods, access will only be granted to the Police and emergency vehicles.
