The Police received a call for assistance from a unit at Blk 268B Boon Lay Drive on 26 November 2015 at about 8.16pm. Upon Police arrival, a 23-year-old woman was found lying motionless at the said location. She was conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital where she was subsequently pronounced dead on the same day at about 11.14pm.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the case.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 28 November 2015 for the offence of Murder under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries the death penalty.
