Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) Arthur Law Kok Leong (刘国良) will assume the command of Central Division as Commander, Central Division on 2 January 2016. He takes over from Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) Daniel Tan Sin Heng (陈新兴), who will be moving on to assume the appointment of 2 Deputy Director, Operations Department at Police Headquarters on the same day.

DAC Law, 45 years old, joined the Singapore Police Force (SPF) in 1995. He has served 20 years with SPF, holding several key appointments including Commanding Officer of Special Tactics and Rescue Unit, Head Operations of Special Operations Command, Assistant Director (Operations Planning) of Operations Department and Deputy Commander of Central Division.

DAC Tan, 43 years old, was appointed Commander of Central Division on 25 June 2012. He joined the SPF in 1997 and has served 18 years with SPF, holding several key appointments including Head Operations and Training of Central Division, Head Research and Planning of Traffic Police, Deputy Director (Risk & Technology) of Monetary Authority of Singapore and Deputy Commander of Police Security Command.
