Kreta Ayer Kim Seng Citizens Consultative Committee Centre will be organising the Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebration 2016 Opening Ceremony on Saturday, 16 January 2016.
To facilitate the event, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated durations:

In addition, Mosque Street will be converted to a bi-directional road from 2pm to 11pm on Saturday, 16 January 2016.
Auxiliary Police officers will be deployed at all affected road junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists. Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed.
During the closure, access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.
SBS and SMRT buses plying the affected roads will also be diverted during the road closures.
