Ten subjects were arrested following a 17-hour joint enforcement operation conducted on 26 January 2016.
The operation was jointly led by Ang Mo Kio Division and Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F†Division, and supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). The officers conducted checks at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Sembawang, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon and Punggol.
Seven men and one woman were arrested for drug-related offences and the remaining two men were arrested for offences under the Provisions of the Women’s Charter.
Investigations are ongoing.
