The Singapore Airshow 2016 will be held from 16 to 21 February 2016 at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
To facilitate the event, Aviation Park Road will be closed from 9 to 23 February 2016 and access will only be granted to vehicles with the Singapore Airshow labels, taxis, Police and emergency vehicles. Vehicles will also be subjected to security checks. Auxiliary Police Officers will be deployed at the junction of Changi Coast Road and Aviation Park Road and the peripheral roads leading to Aviation Park Road to assist motorists and regulate traffic.
Traffic delays are expected along Changi Coast Road from Xilin Avenue and the East Coast Parkway Expressway (ECP) during the event. Motorists travelling to Cargo Complex via Changi Coast Road are advised to use Loyang Avenue. Pedal cyclists travelling along Changi Coast Road are advised to use the Coastal Park Connector. Additional traffic delays are expected along Somapah Road, Upper Changi Road East, Xilin Avenue, Changi South Avenue 1 and vicinity of Changi Business Park between 20 and 21 February 2016.
In view of the expected traffic delays, members of public going to the Airshow on 20 and 21 February 2016 are advised to take public transport and use the shuttle bus service available.
Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles that are found parking indiscriminately and/or causing obstruction will be towed.
