The Police have arrested a 35-year-old man believed to be involved in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 26 January 2016, a female victim lodged a Police report stating that she was molested at the junction of Balestier Road and Kim Keat Road.
Through extensive ground enquiries and investigation, officers from Tanglin Division established the identity of the 35-year-old suspect and arrested him on 17 February 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 19 February 2016 with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a jail term up to 2 years, or fined and also be liable to caning, upon conviction.
