The inaugural Singapore Police Force (SPF) Expert Career Track Appointment Ceremony was held earlier today at the Police Cantonment Complex Auditorium with Commissioner of Police Hoong Wee Teck as the Guest-of-Honour.
The first batch of 144 officers were appointed under the Expert Career Track, which has been introduced in the three specialist domains of investigations, intelligence and special operations. The 144 officers include two Experts, 25 Principal Specialists and 117 Senior Specialists. The officers are from various SPF units such as the Criminal Investigation Department, the six Police Divisions, Traffic Police, Commercial Affairs Department, Police Coast Guard, Special Operations Command and Security Command.
