The Police have arrested three men and one woman, aged between 27 and 41 for their suspected involvement in several forgery cases.

 

Between 14 and 21 September 2016, the Police received several reports of online credit card applications made with supporting documents believed to be forged.  Officers from Tanglin Division conducted extensive investigations and subsequently arrested the suspects.

 

Investigations against all four suspects are ongoing.

 

Any person found guilty of Forgery for the Purpose of Cheating under Section 468 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, may be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend up to 10 years, and shall also be liable to a fine.
