The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty along Gerald Drive.
On 16 November 2016, a 13-year-old victim reported to the Police that she had been molested along Gerald Drive. Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 24 November 2016.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 25 November 2016 with an offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(2) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he is liable to be punished with an imprisonment term of up to 5 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
