The Police have arrested a 49-year-old woman who is believed to be involved in a case of theft.
On 11 March 2017, Police received a report informing that a pair of shoes and socks placed outside a unit at Blk 171 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh were stolen.
Through follow up investigations and with the aid of CCTV footages, officers from Tanglin Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested her along Lorong 1 Toa Payoh on 13 March 2017.
Investigations against the suspect are ongoing.
Any person found guilty of Theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years, or with fine, or with both.
