The Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 9 March 2017 at about 6.17am, a 31-year-old female victim informed the Police that she had been molested by a man along Woodlands Drive 53. The man sped off on his motorcycle thereafter.
Officers from Jurong Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the man in Woodlands on 6 April 2017.
Investigations against the man are ongoing. For the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 224, the man may be jailed for up to two years, or fined, and is also liable to caning.
