The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of theft of motor vehicle at Lyndhurst Road.

On 10 April 2017, the 50-year-old victim lodged a report informing that his car which was parked along Lyndhurst Road had gone missing. Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of images from Police Cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him along Aljunied Crescent on 7 June 2017 at about 3.30pm.

Investigations against the suspect are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, is liable to an imprisonment term of up to 7 years and a fine.
