The Police have arrested four men aged between 16 and 18, who are believed to be involved in a case of Rash Act and Public Nuisance at the vicinity of Punggol MRT Station and Bus Interchange.
On 16 June 2017, the Police received a report regarding a man throwing a bicycle into a canal, and riding a bicycle in a MRT Station and bus interchange.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division carried out extensive ground enquiries and follow up investigations to establish the identities of the 4 suspects. The identities of the 4 suspects were established they were arrested along Ang Mo Kio Ave 9 on 19 June 2017.
Investigations are ongoing. If convicted for Rash Act, the suspect(s) shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 6 months, or with fine which may extend to $2,500, or with both. If convicted for Public Nuisance, the suspect(s) shall be punished with fine which may extend to $1,000.
