The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man believed to be involved in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 12 October 2017 at 11.46pm, a 27-year-old woman reported that she had been molested by an unknown man along Northshore Drive.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted follow-up investigations and arrested the suspect on the same night.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 16 October 2017 with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years or with a fine, or with caning or with any combination of such punishments.
