19 men, aged between 17 and 63, were arrested for various offences in an overnight Geylang operation that ended in the wee hours of Saturday morning, 2 December 2017.
The operation, led by Bedok Police Division and supported by officers from the Health Sciences Authority, targeted the streets and entertainment outlets in Geylang.
17 men were arrested for being members of unlawful societies, one for fraudulent possession while the remaining one was arrested pursuant to a warrant of arrest. Investigations against the men are ongoing.
The Police will continue to work with other enforcement agencies to come down hard against those pre-disposed to crime and illegal activities.
