The police have arrested a 29-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a series of Obscene Act in Tampines.
On 9 February 2018, the police received a report of a man exposing himself to a female victim along Tampines Street 45. Following the report, officers from Bedok Police Division conducted extensive ground inquiries to establish the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 8 March 2018. The suspect is believed to be involved in other similar case reported in the neighbourhood.
The man will be charged in Court on 9 March 2018 with the offence of Doing any Obscene Act in a Public Place, under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with an imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine, or with both.
