A joint operation, led by Ang Mo Kio Police Division and supported by officers from Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F” Division was conducted from 12 to 18 March 2018. During the operation, the officers conducted checks at Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon, Upper Serangoon and Sengkang estates and arrested ten men and nine women.
The details of the arrests are as follows:

Seven women were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter. Preliminary investigations revealed that the female suspects had advertised sexual services online and operated from residential units. Cash amounting to S$1,700 and seven mobile phones were seized for investigations;

Eight men and one woman were arrested for drug-related offences;

One man was arrested for operating an unlicensed money lending business;

One woman was arrested for illegal bookmaking; and
-
One man was arrested for being in possession of contraband cigarettes.
One massage establishment operator was found to have breached licensing conditions while another massage establishment was found to be operating without a valid licence.
Investigations against the arrested persons and the operators of the massage establishments are on-going.
