The Police have identified a 15-year-old youth for his suspected involvement in a case of rash act causing hurt.
On 17 April 2018, a 65-year-old victim reported that she was knocked down by an e-scooter at the ground floor lift lobby of Blk 538 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
Through the aid of police cameras and extensive ground investigations, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the subject who is currently assisting with investigations. An e-scooter and a helmet were seized as case exhibits.
The offence of rash act causing hurt under Section 337(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, is punishable with an imprisonment term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both
