The Police have arrested a 50-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 16 May 2018 at about 4.00 pm, a 13-year-old teenager reported to the Police that she had been molested by a man along Jalan Tan Tock Seng.
Following the report, officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted extensive follow-up investigations and arrested the man along Kitchener Road on 18 May 2018.
Investigations against the man are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of outrage of modesty under Section 354(2) of the Penal Code shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 5 years, or with fine, or caning, or with combination of such punishments.
