The Police have arrested a 26-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.  
 
On 31 May 2018 at about 12.30am, the Police received a report from a man informing that his daughter had been sexually harassed by an unknown man along Lorong 3 Toa Payoh. Through ground enquiries conducted, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 1 June 2018. 
 
The man will be charged in court on 2 June 2018 with the offence of outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning or with any combination of such punishments.
