The Police have arrested two men, aged 27 and 43, for their suspected involvement in a case of theft.
On 1 October 2018 at about 12.20pm, the Police received a report that 22 cartons of shoes with an estimated value of about $10,800 were missing from a warehouse located along Jurong Port Road.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of CCTV footages, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the men and arrested them along Jurong Port Road on 2 October 2018. The shoes have been recovered.
The men will be charged in court on 4 Oct 2018 with theft with common intention. Anyone convicted for theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 3 years, or with fine, or with both.
