The Police have arrested seven women, aged between 19 and 34, in a two-day enforcement operation against massage establishments, liquor and public entertainment outlets along Rangoon Road, Lavender Street, Bali Lane, York Hill, Tanjong Pagar Road, Telok Ayer Street, Dunlop Street, Tras Street and Circular Road on 2 and 3 October 2018. 

During operation by Central Police Division, four licensed massage establishments and three liquor outlets were found to have contravened licensing conditions.

Seven women were also arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and Immigration Act.

Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainment Act, Massage Establishment Act and Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015. The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against criminal activities and those found engaging in such activities will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
