The Police have arrested a 26-year-old man believed to be involved in a case of housebreaking at Blk 330 Serangoon Avenue 3. 

On 14 October 2018 at about 7.00 pm, the Police received a report that an unknown man had entered into a flat at Blk 330 Serangoon Avenue 3 on 9 October 2018 when the houseowner was overseas. The act was captured by CCTV installed inside the house. However, nothing was reported to be missing. 

Through ground enquiries, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 18 October 2018.  

The man will be charged in court on 20 October 2018 with housebreaking by day under Section 453 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 which is punishable with imprisonment for a term not less than 2 years and shall also be liable to a fine.
