The Police have arrested a 56-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of committing obscene acts in a public place.
In the first case, on 10 January 2019, the Police received a report of a man exposing himself to a woman along Commonwealth. In the second case, on 20 January 2019, the Police received a report of a man exposing himself to a woman along Chwee Chian Road.
Officers from Clementi Police Division conducted investigations and established the identity of the man. He was subsequently arrested on 23 January 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 25 January 2019 with the offence of committing an obscene act in a public place, under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with an imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine, or with both.
