The Police have arrested 38 women, aged between 20 and 32, during an enforcement operation against a public entertainment outlet conducted on 23 January 2019 along Orchard Road.
During the operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division, the women were arrested for working without a valid work permit. One public entertainment outlet was found to have contravened licensing conditions.
Investigations are ongoing.
Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainment Act. The Police takes a serious view of anyone involved in criminal activities and will continue to take tough enforcement action against those found breaking the law.
