The Police arrested seven women, aged between 27 and 37, in an enforcement operation against massage establishments along Upper Cross Street, Horne Road, Bali Lane and Serangoon Road on 13 February 2019.
During the enforcement operation conducted by Central Police Division, three unlicensed massage establishments were detected. Seven women were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter and Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Massage Establishment Act 2017. The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against those found breaking the law.
