The Police conducted an enforcement operation against vice activities along Orchard Road on 27 March 2019.
During the joint enforcement operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division and Criminal Investigation Department, 11 women aged between 20 and 46, were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter Act. Preliminary investigation revealed that the women were soliciting and offering sexual services along Orchard Road.
The Police will spare no effort to clamp down and take tough enforcement action against anyone involved in vice activities. Those found engaging in such activities will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
