The Police have arrested a 19-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of outrage of modesty.
Between 14 and 17 May 2019, the Police received reports of two female victims who were molested by an unknown man in the Ang Mo Kio estate.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras and CCTVs, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 18 May 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 22 May 2019 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
