The Police have arrested a 38-year-old man for his suspected obscene act in a public place.
On 12 June 2019 at about 1.30am, the Police were alerted to a case where a man had exposed his private parts to 2 young victims at the lift lobby of a HDB block along Tampines Street 83.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 18 June 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 19 June 2019 for obscene act under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he may be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine, or with both.
