The Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of aggravated outrage of modesty.
On 28 June 2019 at about 5.50pm, the Police received a report from a victim that she was molested by an unknown man along Wellington Circle. Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 29 June 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 1 July 2019 with aggravated outrage of modesty under Section 354A(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term of not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years, and with caning.
