The Police have arrested a 44-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 29 June 2019 at about 12.30pm, the Police received a report that a woman was molested by an unknown man along Choa Chu Kang Ave 4.
Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 30 June 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 1 July 2019 for outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
