The Police have arrested a 52-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of public nuisance.
On 18 July 2019 at about 6.45pm, the Police were alerted to a case of a man wielding a pair of scissors and causing alarm to members of the public along Tampines Avenue 10.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him at Pasir Ris Street 71.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Anyone convicted for the offence of public nuisance under Section 290 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 may be punished with a fine which may extend to $1,000.
