The Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty on 31 July 2019.
On 1 August 2019 at about 3.05pm, the Police were alerted to a case of outrage of modesty along Marine Terrace involving a 30-year-old woman. Through investigations, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day.
The man will be charged in court on 3 August 2019 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with combination of such punishments.
