The Police have arrested a 34-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of theft.
On 8 August 2019 at about 10.10am, the Police received a report that shoes placed outside a residential unit located at Teck Whye Lane was stolen. Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from CCTV, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 9 August 2019.
Investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted for theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years, or with a fine, or with both.
