The Police have arrested two men, aged 20 and 31, for their suspected involvement in a case of housebreaking.
On 21 January 2020 at about 11.35am, the Police were alerted to a case whereby a rubbish collection centre along Henderson Crescent was broken into. An assortment of items which were stored in the rubbish collection centre were stolen.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the two men and arrested them on the same day.
Police investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted for housebreaking with common intention under Section 451 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be liable for imprisonment which may extend to 10 years, and shall also be liable to a fine.
