The Police have arrested a 60-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of theft from vehicle.
On 9 February 2020 at about 6.30pm, the Police were alerted to a case where a cash card was stolen from a vehicle at Joo Koon Circle.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from CCTV cameras, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 9 February 2020.
The man will be charged in court on 11 February 2020 with theft from vehicle under Section 379 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. Anyone convicted of theft from vehicle shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 3 years, or with fine, or with both.
